Strawberry Cheesecake Overnight Oats

When I was thinking of a flavour to make, I knew I was going to eat the oatmeal cold so I thought I would want to taste a flavour that is normally cold like cheesecake!! This recipe is like dessert for breakfast.

 

So yummy and nutritious, check out those nutrition facts! High in fiber to help you feel fuller longer, 21g protein and ~1g of essential fatty acids from the ground flaxseed.

Makes 1 serving

Ingredients

  • ½ cup rolled oats

  • 2/3 cup skim milk

  • 1/3 cup vanilla non fat Greek yogurt

  • ½ tbsp. chia seeds

  • ½ tbsp. ground flax seeds

  • 2 tbsp. softened cream cheese

  • 1/8 tsp. vanilla extract (a little drop)

  • ½ tsp. lemon juice

  • ~ 5 fresh strawberries cut into little pieces!

  • Sweetener optional

Directions

  1. Combine all ingredients in a 500mL mason jar and let sit overnight.

  2. Enjoy :)
