Power Smoothie

This power smoothie is packed full of many nutrients including iron, potassium, and vitamin C! With a healthy serving of protein, carbs and fat this makes an easy on-the-go meal. It may not look like it tastes great (or maybe it does to some!), but the strawberries, mangoes and vanilla protein give it a nice sweet flavour. You don't even taste the spinach, baby kale or avocado!

I use frozen chopped spinach because its cheap and lasts a lot longer! I buy the no name brand from Loblaws. If you haven't purchased this product before, looks like this:

There are two blocks in this bag and when I get home from the grocery store I chop each block in half twice to give me 2 inch cubes, that way it's easier to add to my smoothies.

The avocado provides you with healthy fats to keep you fuller longer and also gives the smoothie a nice smooth texture.
