Egg Casserole

This breakfast recipe is super easy and can be made any way you like! You can add all your favourite veggies/meat you want. It’s just like making an omelette but baking it! Eggs are a great meat source to start your day. They are considered a complete protein, meaning they contain all the essential amino acids that our body can’t synthesize. They also provide you with many vitamins and minerals some of which including: vitamin A, B, D, folate, iron and zinc.  

Ingredients:

  • 6 Eggs, whisked

  • 3 tbsp. Milk

  • 1 cup Cheese, grated

  • 6 Bacon slices, or ½ cup chopped ham

  • 1 Bell pepper, diced

  • 2 Green onion sprigs, chopped

  • 1 clove Garlic, minced

  • Salt and black pepper to taste

 

Directions:

  1. Preheat oven to 350F and grease a 9x13 baking dish.

  2. Stir all ingredients together and pour into baking dish.

  3. Bake until eggs are set, 20-25 min.

  4. ENJOY :)
